Riggs Funeral
Rites Will Be Held
Wednesday

     Funeral services for William Crawford Riggs, who died Monday at a local hospital following a short illness, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Roswell Presbyterian church with Rev. David Oastler officiating.  Interment will be in the Wilder cemetery.  The body is now at the Peckham funeral establishment.
    Mr. Riggs, who has been engaged in ranching in the Parma and Roswell vicinity since 1919, came here from Kansas.  He was born in Harrison county, Iowa, 57 years ago.
    Surviving Mr. Riggs are four daughters, Mrs. Nora Elston of Parma, Mrs. Irene Cotham of Homedale, Mrs. Velma Aughey of Glena, Ore., and Mrs. Pauline Sopher of Richfield, Ida; seven brothers, Ira Walter, Jim and Harvey, all of Burns, Kas.; Jess and Alva of Parma and Roy of Caldwell and nine grandchildren.
