Maurice Piersol

     Services for Maurice Dwayne Piersol, 12, of Nampa, who died Wednesday, April 3, near his home as the result of an accidental gunshot wound, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    The Rev. Mauricio Medina of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Nampa will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
    Maurice was born Nov. 3, 1972, in Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Caldwell. He has lived his entire life in Nampa.  He was a member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and was currently in the sixth grade at Central Elementary School in Nampa.  Maurice was very active in school sports, including football and track.
    He  is survived by his father, Darrell E. Piersol of Nampa; his mother, Ila Rusco of Nampa; one sister, Lydia Ann Piersol, at home; two brothers, Richard "Ricky" Piersol, at home and Robert "Bob" Piersol and his wife Ginger Ann, of Boise; his paternal grandparents, Jess and Lydia Piersol of Nampa; two half-sisters, Belinda Sanderson and Tanya Sanderson, both of Nampa; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
