Services for John Perot, 61, Wilder,
who died Thursday, Oct. 31, at a Boise hospital, will be
conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel,
Homedale. The Rev. Alfred R. Bowens of
the Church of God and Christ, Boise, will officiate.
Interment will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Wilder Cemetery.
Mr. Perot was born July 11, 1924, at Natchitoches, La.
He attended several schools in the Natchitoches parish.
He joined the U.S. Army in January of 1943, served during
World War II and was honorably discharged in 1952. He
worked on several dam construction projects in Nevada and
followed the hydro-electric construction projects in several
states. He married Mary James on July
3, 1973, in Kennewick, Wash., and retired in 1973 due to ill
health. They resided at Pasco, Wash., until moving to
Wilder in 1980. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of Wilder, five sons, John Perot
Jr. of Boise, Michael Perot of Kennewick, Archi Trahan of
Walla Walla, Wash., Nelson Trahan of Augusta, Ga., and Willie
B. Jones Jr. of Wilder; two daughters, Elizabeth Grigsby of
Kennewick and Treva Perot of Wilder; one brother, E. Perot of
Slidell, La.; five grandchildren, and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sister.
Memorials may he made to the American Cancer Society or a
favorite charity. Friends may call
Sunday from 1 until 8 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale. |
