Hazel Powell

     Services for Hazel J. Powell, 65, of Parma, who died Thursday, Sept. 3, of natural causes in a Boise hospital will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Kirkpatrick Memorial Community Church in Parma.  Burial will be at the Parma Cemetery under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma.
    Mrs. Powell was born July 14, 1922, in Stevensville, Mont., to Pete and Anna Domenico.  She was reared and educated in Stevensville.  She married Gerald M. Powell Nov. 22, 1947 in Missoula, Mont.  They came to Parma in 1948 where she worked for the Idaho First National Bank for several years and later served as city treasurer for Parma for 20 years before her retirement in August of this year.  She was the president of Beta Sigma Phi sorority in Parma and had been active in Girl Scouts.
    She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Bette and Gary Williams and Karla and Tony Santa Ana, all of Parma; one sister, Bette Sparks of Parma; two brothers, Harold Domenico and Joe Domenico, both of Parma: and two grand-children.
    She was preceded in death by her husband.
