Gerald Powell

     Services for Gerald M. Powell, 59, of Parma Box 12, who died Monday, Sept. 26, at a Caldwell hospital of natural causes will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Kirkpatrick Memorial Community Church, Parma, by the Rev. Paul Evans.
    Interment will be at the Parma Cemetery under the direction of Dakan funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    He was born Dec. 31, 1923, in Billings, Mont.  He moved with his family to Missoula where he attended school.  He served with the U.S. Marines during World War II.  He married Hazel Domenico Nov. 22, 1947, in Missoula.  They came to Parma in 1948 where they have since resided.
    He is survived by his wife of Parma; two daughters, Karla Powell and Mrs. Garry (Bette Jane) Williams both of Parma; two grandchildren. Angela and Mitch both of Parma; six brothers, Marvin, David, James and Bobby all of Missoula, Woodrow of Boise and John of Spokane; four sisters, Mrs. Lloyd (Roberta) Johnson and Mrs. Bob (Catherine) Mims, both of Spokane and Mrs. Ray (Fern) Walden and Mrs. Bob (Marilyn) Caster, both of Seattle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.  Memorials may be made to the Parma Ambulance, the American Heart Association, or flowers may be sent.
