Crystell Price

     Crystell Price, 87, of Nampa, and formerly of Homedale, died Friday, October 21, at a Nampa Care Center.  Graveside services will be conducted at 9:45 a.m. Monday, October 24, 1994, at the Wilder Cemetery, Wilder, Idaho.  A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 24, 1994, at the Friends Community Church, Homedale, Idaho.  Reverend Walter Lee of Nampa will officiate.
    Mrs. Price was born June 19, 1907 at Pea Ridge, Arkansas, a daughter of Reuben S. and Alma L. Broadhurst.  She attended school near Pea Ridge and graduated at the age of 16 from Rocky Comfort, Missouri.  She taught at a country school for two terms and was married to Elmo B. Price on February 27, 1926.  To this union was born three children, Melbourne Earl Price, Alma Florene (Price) Nordyke and Nelson Arthur Price, who died in infancy.  The family lived in Arkansas about eight years before moving near Homedale where they had since resided.
    She was an active member of the Homedale Friends Community Church.  She was also an active member in the Missionary Fellowship, the Lucy Wright Guild, Homedale Senior Citizens and the Fargo Ladies Club.
    She is survived by a son Mel and his wife Alice of British Columbia; a daughter Alma Florene Nordyke and her husband Quentin of Salem, Oregon; a sister Maxine Richardson of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, a sister Eva Marie Gaston; a great-granddaughter and her parents.
    The family suggests that memorials be given to the Friends Community Church, Homedale or to the Homedale Senior Citizens in lieu of flowers.
