Graveside
services for Catherine Ursulla Pfaff, 81, of Parma, who died
Tuesday, April 1, in a Caldwell nursing home of natural
causes, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Parma Cemetery.
Bishop Paul Robinson of the Parma
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will officiate
under the direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Mrs. Pfaff was born Sept. 30, 1904, at Chanute, Kan., to
Russell Holley and Effie Della Waggoner Perry. She moved
to Montana in 1911 as a child and was educated at Livingston,
Mont. She also worked as a teacher in
Livingston. She married Raymond A. Pfaff on June 4, 1927, at
Livingston. After their marriage, they moved to
Billings. Mont., where she worked at the D.J. Cole Retail
Store as a stocker and presser. She
spent most all her life caring for her husband and daughter.
Mr. Pfaff died in October of 1959.
She had lived with her daughter at Parma since her retirement
in 1961 from the D.J. Cole Retail Store.
She was a member of the Parma Senior Citizens.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Madge Marie and
Vernon N. Ellibee of Parma; a brother and sister-in-law,
Russell H. and Ivy Perry of Hamilton, Mont ; a sister, Della
Van Orden of Livingston, Mont.; a brother-in-law, Dale R.
Fluke of Carrollton, Ohio; a granddaughter, Kitty Ellibee of
Par-ma; two grandsons, Daniel and David Ingram of Alpine,
Calif.; three great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, two brothers and three sisters. |
