Claude Mitchell "Mick" Prow, 51, of
Nampa, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 1992, at home of natural causes.
Vigil service will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at
Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa by the Rev. Father
Alfred Puccinelli, S.M. Funeral services will be held at
1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel by
the Rev. Father John Tivenan, chaplain of Mercy Medical
Center, Nampa. Burial will follow in the Melba Cemetery,
Melba. Mr. Prow was born Jan. 17, 1940,
in Boise, a son of Claude A. and Doris Ellis Prow and was
raised in Melba and attended Scism Elementary School and Nampa
High School, graduating in 1958. While in high school,
he worked for various area seed companies and in the summers
worked with livestock on various Owyhee County ranches.
He began farming for himself in the Deer Flat area, then moved
to Bruneau where he farmed, ranched and did some commercial
trucking. He married Gail Ann Bennett on Nov. 30, 1986,
at Elko, Nev., and they made their home southwest of Nampa on
Lynwood Road. Survivors include his
wife, Gail of Nampa; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and
Lance Nelson of Nampa; his parents, Claude and Doris Prow of
Melba; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Ron Prow of Bruneau
and David and Teresa Prow of Nampa; two grandchildren; and
numerous nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his grandparents. |
