Charles Jordan
    Called By Death

     Charles Dale Jordan, 15-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Jordan of Wilder, died Thursday afternoon after a short illness.  Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at the Methodist church at Wilder with Rev. Merle S. Burris officiating.
    Besides his parents, several brothers and sisters survive the boy.

Last Rites Held
     For Wilder Boy

     WILDER (Special) - Funeral services for Charles Dale Jordan, third son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Jordan, were held Saturday afternoon at the Wilder Methodist church, with the Rev. Merle W. Burres in charge.
    A quartet composed of L. L. Hudson, Mr. J. F. Brown, Mrs. E. C. Look  and C. R. Peckham sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Sometime We'll Understand."  This year's eighth grade pupils, who were Charles' classmates, attended the service in a body.  Pall bearers were David Law Jr., Bud Armstrong, John and Richard Linder, Mickey Shelley and Glen Shaver.  Burial was in the Wilder cemetery.
    Charles was born March 9, 1922 in Caldwell, where he made his home until 1934, when the family moved to this community.  He attended the Wilder school and was graduated from the eighth grade May 17, ten days before his death, which took place after an emergency operation for ruptured appendix.  Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Edna Shaver of Nampa and Helen of Wilder, five brothers Ray, Frank, Fred, Clifford and Kenneth of Wilder, a niece, Joann Shaver of Nampa, his grandfather, O. M. Soper of Caldwell and a grandmother, Mrs. Edward Jordan of Los Angeles, Cal., besides a number of other relatives.
