Beulah May Peterson left her loving
family on June 20, 1995, at the Cascade Nursing Home in
Caldwell, Idaho. Graveside services will be conducted at
10:30 a.m. Friday, June 23, 1995, at the Parma Cemetery.
Larry Ragains of Parma will officiate under the direction of
Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Beulah
was born December 30, 1908, in Burns, Kansas, the third of
eleven children of George Leroy and Lucetta Bell Riggs.
She moved with her parents to Nebraska in 1913, and settled in
the Parma-Roswell area in 1919. She married Dale E.
Peterson on September 11, 1927, in Parma and has continued to
make her home in Parma since that time. Dale passed away
June 1, 1970. She was an employee of
the J. C. Watson Company in Parma for many years, retiring in
1971. An accomplished seamstress throughout her life,
she made many quilts, afghans and beautiful crochet items for
her children and grandchildren. Beulah always enjoyed
working in the flowers of her yard, making it a showplace for
all to admire. Always a wonderful mother
and mother-in-law to Gene and Janice Peterson of Parma,
Phillip and Donna Peterson of Payette, and Ron and Eileen
Daniels of Boardman, Oregon. A special grandmother to
Rod and Patti Peterson of Emmett; Joel and Shiela Peterson of
Honolulu; Mike and Toni Brown of Twin Falls; Sam and Nancy
Patterson of Payette; Randy and Lois Peterson of Payette; Pam
Daniels, Tom and Vicki Scott, Scott and Margaret Daniels, all
of Salem, Oregon. Also surviving are 16
great-grandchildren and I great-great grandson.
Beulah enjoyed spending time shopping and visiting with her
five surviving sisters; Blanche Pierce of Milton-Freewater,
Opal Vincent and Virginia Bow of Caldwell, Ruth Johnson of
Meridian, and Mildred Krajnik of Nampa.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, one sister, and
four brothers. Friends and family may
call at the Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell on today from 6
to 8 p.m., and are asked to meet at the Parma Cemetery prior
to the Friday service. Flowers may be
sent or memorials may be made to a favorite charity. |
