teacher, Miss Bales. She attended
Middleton High for 2 years. Then she and her best
friend, Emily McIntyre, rode the streetcar to Caldwell High.
She enjoyed playing basketball for both schools.
On November 12, 1930, Addie married Cecil Pfost at the Emmett
Methodist Church. They were married for 56 years. Their
son, Mel, was born at the Whitney ranch and their daughter,
Lanetta, was born at their home in Middleton. They lived
in Middleton for 22 years and then moved to Lansing Lane where
they had since resided. Addie was a
member of the Middleton First Baptist Church. She
enjoyed the fellowship of her church family. She will be
missed not only by her family who loved her dearly, but also
by all of her cherished friends whom she loved.
