Sherry Nelson
    Services for Sherry Nelson, 18, of Melba, who died Sunday, Nov. 15, at Denver from injuries sustained in an airplane crash, will be held at p.m. Friday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel. Nampa.
    Pastor David Whitcomb of the Melba Friends Church and Jim Potter, principal of Melba High School, will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Melba Cemetery.
    Miss Nelson was born Oct. 30, 1969, at Nampa, to Danny and Marty Nelson.  She was reared and educated in Melba and was a senior at Melba High School at the time of her death.
    During her high school years, she was a member of the Future Farmers of America, a varsity cheerleader, played on the varsity girls volleyball and softball teams and served as student council historian.
    She is survived by her parents of Melba; two brothers, Kenny and Darren Nelson, both at home; paternal grandfather, Lester B. Nelson of Nampa; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C.O. Oxley of Oakland, Ore.
    She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Marie B. Nelson, and maternal grandfather, H.L. Minga.
    Memorials may be made to the Melba FFA Chapter, in care of Melba High School, P.O. Box 185, Melba, 83641; or flowers may be sent.
