Ralph L. Minium,
76, of Parma, died Sunday,
July 28, 1996, at the Pioneer
Nursing Center
in Vale, Oregon.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 1,
1996, at 10 a.m. at the
Parma
Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Nyssa's
Lienkaemper Chapel.
Ralph was born October 28, 1919, in Alma, Nebraska.
He served in the Army for several years.
After retiring from the Army he married Grace Ball on
March 21, 1952. They
settled in Oakridge, Oregon, where he
was employed in the wood products division of WCIW until
1987 when he moved to
Nyssa, OR.
He is
survived by his former wife, Grace of Oakridge, OR.;
stepchildren, Jay Ball of Kuna, Doris Tyree of Weiser, Freda
Hewitt of Eugene, OR, Vonnie Frary of Oakridge and various
stepgrandchildren; 4 brothers, Votis, of Kuna, Ray, of
Mackey, ID, Raymond, of Parma, and John of Oklahoma; 2
sisters, Elizabeth Dennis of Parma and Julia Hartman of
Wilwaukee, WI; and various nieces and nephews,
He was preceded
in death by his parents, Eli and Rose Minium; a stepson,
Dean Ball; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.
