Robert O'Hara
   
Robert "Bob" J. O'Hara, 79, of Nampa, died on Sunday, Jan. 5, 1992, at a Caldwell hospital.  Vigil Services will be held at the Alsip Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 7:30 p.m.  Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at the St. Paul's Catholic Church, 1515 8th St. S., with Father Francis Springer, S.M., as celebrant.  Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
    Robert "Bob" J. O'Hara was born on Sept. 12, 1912, at Nampa, to Martin and Anna Irene Finnegan O'Hara.  Bob was raised on a farm near Melba that his parents homesteaded.  He attended school in Melba where he graduated from high school.  Following the death of his parents he continued to operated the farm until he retired in 1970.  He married Ethel Bledsoe in 1974 in Nampa where they made their home.  Bob was an active in community affairs, including the yearly community auction and the farm bureau.
    Bob is survived by his wife, Ethel O'Hara, Nampa; a stepson, Harvey Bledsoe, 2 stepdaughters-in-law, Joy Bledsoe and Patricia Bledsoe, all of Nampa; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Louie, Don and Kenneth O'Hara; and 3 stepsons, Carlos, Kenneth and Melvin Bledsoe.
    Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today until 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
