Otho Mast

    Services for Otho Raymond Mast, 76, Parma, who died of natural causes Sunday, June 30 at an Ontario hospital will be conducted 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Parma cemetery by the Rev. J. S. Tarter of Wilder under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    He was born Aug. 23, 1908, at Kearney, Neb., to Ira C. and Viola Hodges Mast.  He was raised near Julesburg, Colo., and farmed and ranched his entire life.  He married Ruth Grace Strong May 24, 1938, at Laramie, Wyo.  They lived in the Willamette Valley until 1947.  They have lived in the Parma area since 1949.
    He is survived by his wife of Parma; two brothers, F. D. Mast of Portland, Ore., and L. R. Mast of Vona, Colo.; one sister, Mrs. Rudy Kain of Potlatch; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.  Memorials may be made to the Holy Rosary Hospital in care of Dakan Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 1386, Caldwell 83606.
