Nellie Obendorf
   
Services for Nellie V. Obendorf, 65, of Nampa. who died Saturday, June 27, in a Nampa nursing home of natural causes, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church, Wilder.
    The Rev. Ramiro Cruz-Ahedo of the United Methodist Church, Wilder, will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Wilder Cemetery, under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel. Caldwell.
    Mrs. Obendorf was born Jan. 15. 1922, at Stone County, Mo., to Lincoln and Myrtle McChristen Dorsey.  She was reared and educated in Kansas and came to Idaho in 1940 at the age of 18.
    She lived in the Parma where she met and married Orville Obendorf July 3, 1950.  They resided in the Wilder area where they farmed before moving to Nampa in November 1986.  She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Wilder, and active with Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.  She was an honorary member of the Jobs Daughters Bethel No. 24 in Wilder.
    She was active in community, church and home activities.
    She is survived by her husband of Nampa; a daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Bill Graves of Nampa; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Judy Obendorf of Nampa and Jay and Denise Obendorf of Ruby City, Nev.; her mother, Myrtle Dorsey of Caldwell; five brothers, Everett Dorsey of Paul, Charles Dorsey of Phoenix, Ariz., Vernon Dorsey of Seattle, Gene and Dean Dorsey, both of Caldwell; two sisters, Georgia Roberts of Iola, Kan., and Pauline Koch of Caldwell; and eight grandchildren.
    Memorials may be made to Idaho International Order of Jobs Daughters; the Boy Scouts of America; the Girl Scouts of America; or to the Wilder United Methodist Church, in care of Dakan Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 3186, Caldwell 83606.
    Friends may call at Dakan Funeral Chapel, today from 4 to 8 p.m.
