Myrla Olsen
Graveside services for Myrla V. Olsen, 80, of Wilder, who
died Wednesday, February 3, 1993, at her home of natural
causes, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 1993, at
the Wilder Cemetery, Wilder, Idaho. Reverend Dan St.
Clair of Homedale will officiate under the direction of
Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale. Family and friends
are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Mrs. Olsen was born August 21, 1912, at Akron, Colorado, a
daughter of Arthur W. and Orrie Furgason Goodloe. She
was reared and educated in Colorado. She married Dick
Olsen on February 14, 1947, at Reno, Nevada; and the couple
moved to Idaho where they have since resided. Myrla
had worked for Vanderford's Cash Market and the J.R. Simplot
Company before her retirement. She was
a member of the Homedale Senior Citizens and the Central
Cove Ladies Club. She had been a precinct registrar
for many years. Myrla enjoyed gardening and tending to
her flowers and plants. Survivors
include her husband, Dick of Wilder; a brother, Norval
Goodloe of Homedale; two sisters-in-law, Beverly Goodloe of
Denio, Nevada, and Dorothy Goodloe of Grangeville, Idaho;
three nieces and two nephews. She was
preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
The family suggests that memorials be given to Homedale
Senior Citizens or to West Valley Medical Center Hospice
Program. Friends may call today from 3
until 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Flahiff
Funeral Chapel, Homedale.
