Funeral services
and Christian burial for Lydia Miller, 72, of Middleton, who
went to be with her Lord Friday, April 3, 1992, will be held
at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 10, 1992, at Trinity Lutheran
Church, at 4th and McConnell Streets, Parma.
Pastor Michael McCoy of Redeemer Lutheran
Church, Emmett, will
officiate. Burial
will follow at the Parma
Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral
Chapel, Caldwell.
Mom was born to Christ and Olga Otto, February 19,
1920, at Jordan,
Montana.
She married Dad (Albert Miller of Fairfax, S.
Dakota), April 22, 1941, at Steele, N. Dakota.
They spend their younger years in
South Dakota before moving to
Payette in 1954. She
was a full-time farm wife and mother to her husband and two
sons. In 1965 they
moved to Parma
where they lived until moving to Middleton in 1988.
She is survived
by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Carolyn and
Darrel and Peggy Miller, all of Middleton; four
grandchildren, David Miller of Boise, Annette Miller of New
Rochelle, New York, Patrick Miller with the 82nd Airborne in
Vicinza, Italy, and Michael Miller of Fort Lupton, Colorado;
four stepgrandchildren, Ronda Simpson of Nyssa, Oregon,
Gordon "Chip" Stringer with the U.S. Navy in Pearl Harbor,
Hawaii, Todd Pruyn of Nyssa and Dawn Stringer of Middleton;
two stepgreat-granddaughters, Kayla and Amanda Simpson of
Nyssa; five brothers, Richard Otto of Bowdon, N. Dakota,
Ruben Otto of Mundan, N. Dakota, John Otto of Billings,
Montana, Robert Otto of Leavenworth, Wash., and Jacob Otto
of Billings, Montana; and three sisters, Linda Schick of
Pettibone, N. Dakota, Leov a Magneson of Terrington, N.
Dakota, and Phyllis Hiebert of Newport, Washington; and
numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded
in death by her husband, parents, four brothers and two
sisters.
The
family suggests that memorials be made to
Trinity Lutheran
Church, Parma.
