Larry Miller

    Graveside services and Christian Burial for Larry DeVere Miller, 51 of Middleton, who went to be with his Lord, Tuesday, August 10, 1993, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 13, 1993 at the Parma Cemetery, Parma, Idaho.  Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Emmett. Pastor Michael McCoy will officiate.  Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    Larry was born June 22, 1942, to Albert and Lydia Miller at Gregory, S. Dakota.  He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church.  He married Pat Wagner of Parma, Idaho, May 13, 1966, and they had three sons.  They were later divorced.  He married Carolyn Pruyn of Nyssa, Oregon, January 9, 1983, and they made their home in Middleton where they have spent the last 4½ years.  At the time of his death, Larry was enjoying his retirement.
    He is survived by his wife of ten years, Carolyn; three sons and a daughter-in-law, David and Lisa Miller of Boise, Patrick Miller of Boise and Michael Miller of Ft. Lupton, Colorado; two step-children, Ronda Simpson and her husband, Russell, and Todd Pruyn all of Nyssa; two grandchildren, Kayla LeeAnn Chan and Amanda Simpson of Nyssa; one brother and sister-in-law, Darrel and Peggy Miller of Middleton; a nephew and two nieces, Gordon Stinger, stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, Annette Miller of Norwalk, Connecticut and Dawn Stringer of Middleton, Idaho.
    He was preceded in death by his parents.
    The family suggests that memorials be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Emmett.
    Friends may call at Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell until 8 p.m. today.
