Lorene Page
Lorene Pearl Page, 75, of Wilder, passed away Monday, April
3, 1995, at a Homedale nursing home, after a long illness.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April
6, 1995, at the Wilder Cemetery, Wilder, Idaho. Rev.
Alvin Eastman will officiate under the direction of Flahiff
Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Lorene was
born February 7, 1920, at Zincville, Oklahoma, a daughter of
Henry and Frances Parker Davis. She married her only
love, Jess Andrew Page on October 31, 1936. The couple
moved from Oklahoma to Wilder with their five children.
She worked for J.R. Simplot, retiring after 35 years.
Lorene was active in the Free Holiness Church, Wilder.
She is survived by five lov-ing children; two daughters and
sons-in-law Lillian and Hank Hancock of Nampa, Ruth and Lee
Sloan of Jay, Oklahoma; three sons and daughters-in-law,
Jesse and Carolyn Page of New Meadows, ID, Winford and Peggy
Page of Caldwell, and Mark and Susie Page of Parma; eight
sisters; one brother; 23 grandchildren; 58
great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jess, her parents,
two brothers, and a sister. The
family suggests memorials be given, in memory of Lorene
Page, to Roe's Country Manor Activity Fund, 108 W. Owyhee,
Homedale, Idaho 83628. Friends
may call today from 3 until 8 p.m. at the Flahiff Funeral
Chapel Caldwell.
