Lela Morse
    Graveside services for Lela B. Morse, 68, 708 E. 2nd, Emmett, who died Friday, April 29, 1983 in a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Melba Cemetery.  Memorial services will follow at the Melba Friends Church at 3 p.m. with Rev. A. Clark Smith of the Friends Church officiating, assisted by Rev. J. Harley Adams, pastor of the Melba Friends Church and Rev, Jack Willcuts, superintendent of the Northwest Yearly Meeting of the Friends Church.  Services and interment are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    She was born Oct. 17, 1914 at Louisburg, Mo.  At a young age, her family moved to Washington and then to Idaho.  At the age of 12, she moved with her family to Melba where she graduated from high school.  She was married to Robert P. Morse on June 15, 1938 at Melba.  They have since pastored in the Friends Church throughout the Northwest, currently pastoring the Friends Church in Emmett.
    She is survived by her husband, Rev. Robert P. Morse, Emmett; one son, Stanley D. Morse, Lancaster, Calif.; one daughter, Christene L. Adams, Oakland, Calif.; her mother, Mrs. Maude Montgomery, Nampa; one brother, Cecil Montgomery, Boise; three sisters, Ines Heyer, Melba, Mabel Kissell, Fruitland and Irene Lee, Homedale; and three grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse C. Montgomery, two brothers and one sister.
    Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until noon.
    The family suggests memorials to the Emmett Friends Church, 805 Lynn Drive, Emmett, 83617, or flowers may be sent.
