Jesse Montanez
 
   Christian Wake Services for Jesse Montanez, 43, of Nampa, who died Tuesday, July 17, 1990, at home of natural causes, will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, July 23, at St. Paul's Catholic Church.  The Rev. Father Juan F. Carrance, S.M., will officiate.  Private family burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
    Jesse was born July 31, 1946, at Scottsbluff, Neb., the son of Raphael and Clara Jaramillo Montanez.  He graduated from high school in 1965 at Boys Town, Neb.  He married Patricia Veloz June 14, 1969, at Scottsbluff.  They moved to Los Angeles and to Nampa the following year.  He had been employed at Restline Industry of Nampa.  He loved to fish and his pride and joy was his grandson, Joshua.
    He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa, Lodge No. 1389, BPOE and an alumni of Boys Town, Neb.
    He is survived by his wife, Patricia of Nampa; two daughters, Francelia Montanez and Anna Montanez both of Nampa; his mother, Clara Montanez of Los Angeles, Calif.; three brothers, Steve Montanez, Ralph Montanez and Martin Montanez all of Los Angeles; two sisters, Margaret Camacho and Mary Lou Castaneda, both of Los Angeles; a grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his father, a brother and a sister.
