Jose Ozamez
Rosary devotions for Jose Maria Ozamez, 49, of Nampa, who
died Friday, Aug. 22, at home of natural causes, will be
recited at 7 p.m. Monday at Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the
Alsip Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Merle J. Fisher, S.M.,
of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa, will officiate.
Interment will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
Mr. Ozamez was born July 26, 1937, in Nachitua, Viscaya,
Spain, to Gabriel and Maria Alberdi Ozamez. He was
reared and educated in Nachitua. He worked for his
brother's construction company as a carpenter while living
in Spain. He moved to the United
States in 1962 and worked in the sheep industry for a year.
In 1963 he began to farm for Simplots and in 1970 he
continued to farm for the Tiegs farms.
In 1973 he began to work as a mason for the Goodman Masonary
Co. and later for the Budd Landon Masonary Co.
He married Beverly Rose Jan. 2, 1986, in Elko, Nev.
He is survived by his wife of Nampa; a stepson, Don Droulard
of McCall; a stepdaughter, Sheri LeFavour of Nampa; a
sister, Ana Maria Arbillaga of Elko; and numerous nieces,
nephews and step-grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by his brother, Jesus Maria Ozamez, in
1982. The family suggests memorial
contributions to the Mercy Medical Center Hospice program,
1512 12th Ave. Road, Nampa, 83651, or flowers may be sent.
