Hazel Nichols
    Services for Hazel O. Nichols. 87, of Ontario, who died Friday, Dec. 6 in the Caldwell hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ontario's Lienkaemper Chapel.
    The Rev. Paul Gering of the Ontario Assembly of God Church will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Wilder Cemetery.
    Mrs. Nichols, a homemaker, was born April 22, 1898, at Fairbury, Neb., a daughter of Charles and Anna Callison Higgins.  She moved with her parents to Bristol. Colo., in 1905.
    She married Francis Sale on April 24, 1918, at Bristol.  They moved to Wilder in 1919.  Mr. Sale died Dec. 13, 1931, at Wilder.  She then moved to Parma.  She married Clarence A. Nichols on Nov. 15, 1933, at Boise.  They moved to Ontario in 1944.  From 1946 until 1949 they owned and operated Star Dairy.  They moved to Vale, Ore., in 1959.  Mr. Nichols died June 16, 1980, at Ontario.  She moved to Ontario in 1982 where she had since resided.
    She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Wagner of Middleton; two stepsons, Elmer and Donald Nichols, both of Payette; a step-daughter, Donna Breshears of Yakima, Wash,: a sister, Blanche Neyman of Boise; two grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
    Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Lienkaemper Chapel in Ontario.
