Hope Darlene Murray
Hope Darlene Murray, 58, of Middleton, died Saturday, March
30, 1996, at home of natural causes.
Graveside
ser-vices will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, at the
Middleton
Cemetery.
The Rev. Charles E. Jackson, retired from the
Middleton Nazarene Church,
will officiate.
Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel,
Caldwell.
Hope was born
Dec. 12, 1937, at Seymour, Mo., to Ben and
Ida Porter, and moved to
Idaho
at age 3. In June of
1960 she married Lloyd Murray.
They have made Middleton their home for many years,
farming and making many friends along the way.
She was Lloyd's wife, best friend, and lifelong
partner.
Hope was
wonderful seamstress.
She sewed a majority of Lloyd's clothing, and her
children's also through their growing up years.
She continued that tradition with all of her
grandchildren. Mom
also loved flowers, especially roses, and enjoyed adding to
her flower garden every year.
Mom was also a wonderful cook, and enjoyed canning
every year.
Hope loved
spending time with her grandchildren who were so special to
her, and watching them grow up over the years.
She was a funny lady whose sense of humor will be
truly missed.
She is survived
by her husband, Lloyd; her children and spouses, including
Robbie Guthrie in California, Eric Howard of Boise, Perry
and Carla Howard of Caldwell, Karl and Bev Murray of Nampa,
Donna and Darrell Walker of Caldwell, Jonathan Murray of
Middleton, Andy and Mari Murray of Middleton; her mother,
Ida Porter of Boise; her sister, Bertha Fitch of Boise; her
brother, Ben Porter of Boise; 19 grandchildren; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ben Porter; and her
grandson, Jason Howard.
Mom, we love you
and will miss you very much!
