Glennie Miles

    Services for Glennie D. Miles, 75, of Boise, who died Wednesday, May 9, in a Boise hospital, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Alden-Waggoner Chapel, Boise.
    The Rev. Stanley Andrews of the First United Methodist Church will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Greenleaf Cemetery at 3 p.m.
    Mrs. Miles was born April 24, 1909, at San Francisco.  She moved as a child to Kennebec, S.D., where she grew up and graduated from high school.  She attended Dakota Wesleyan College in South Dakota and received a bachelor's degree in education.
    She taught in elementary schools in South Dakota during her early years before moving to Idaho.  She also taught in Bliss and Nampa, then did substitute teaching in Boise for several years prior to her retirement.
    She married Russell L. Miles on July 1, 1940, at Albuquerque, N.M.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Martha Circle; was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star, Boise Chapter 8, and a member of the Retired Teachers Association.
    She is survived by her husband of Boise; two sons, Richard A. of Boise and Glenn F. of Moscow; and two grandsons, Craig and Gary Miles, both of Boise.
