Erie Mausling

    Graveside services for Erie R. Mausling, 74, Adrian, who died Saturday, June 15, in Nyssa, Ore., hosptial of natural causes, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Roswell Cemetery, Roswell.  The Rev. Mauricio Medina will officiate under the direction of the Lienkaemper Chapel, Nyssa.
    Mr. Mausling was born Nov. 24, 1910, at St. James, Minn.  He was the son of Ernest and Nina Mausling.  In about 1912, he moved to the Big Bend area with his family.  He was raised and educated in the Big Bend area.  As a young man he started working in the sheep industry and continud to work at that until 1950 when he returned to the Big Bend area and resumed farming.
    He married Martha Foster on Jan. 4, 1953 in Nyssa.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and liked all outdoor sports.
    He is survived by his wife of Adrian; a son, Mark Mausling of Kennewick. Wash.; a daughter Denise Gaviola, of Parma; a son, John Foster, Umatilla, Ore.; and a son David Foster of Miami Florida; one brother, David Mausling of Boise; one sister, Lois Bockus of Escondido, Calif.; seven grandchildren, hree nieces and one nephew.
    Memorials may be sent to the Malheur Hospital.
