Lorraine Newman
    Graveside services for Lorraine Newman, 54, of Middleton, who died Sunday, March 9, at a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Middleton Cemetery.
    The Rev. Mark Johnson of the United Methodist Church, Middleton, will officiate, under the direction of the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
     Mrs. Newman was born Nov. 13, 1931, at Oakland, Calif.  She moved to Parma with her family and was reared and educated in the Apple Valley, Parma and Middleton areas, graduating from Middleton High School.
    She lived in the Caldwell and Middleton areas for many years.  She worked at the Idaho State School and Hospital and retired due to ill health in 1982.  She then returned to Middleton, where she had since resided.
    She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen A. and Don Ogawa and Linda Z. and Dick Jones, all of Middleton; a stepfather, Earl Roller of Grand View; two sisters, Myrtle Lyon of Caldwell and Delores Muncie of Nampa; and six grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
