Edmond Morel
Edmond Adrian Morel, 74, of
Parma, passed
away Thursday, Nov. 15, 1990, at his home of natural causes.
Rosary devotions will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov.
19. Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday,
Nov. 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church,
Parma, by Father Sean Caulfield.
Interment will be at the
Parma Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of the Dakan Funeral
Chapel, Parma.
Mr. Morel was
born Jan. 30, 1916, on the family farm, homesteaded by his
grandparents in Graham County, Kan.
He was the second son of Arthur and Adele Morel.
He was raised on the family farm and attended school
in Falco,
Kan.
He served in the infantry in the U.S. Army during
World War II in the Aleutian Islands, then
France
and
Germany.
After the war he returned to farm, with his father.
He married Theresa Ann Arpin of Damar,
Kan., March 30, 1948.
To this union were born four children.
Mr. Morel
continued to farm in Kansas until 1970 when he sold the farm and moved his
family to Idaho.
They lived in the Dixie and Ten Davis communities
until 1974 when they bought a small farm in Apple Valley, where they had since resided.
In addition to farming, Mr. Morel was also an
excellent carpenter.
He loved to fish and camp in the Idaho mountains with his
family and friends.
He loved his children and grandchildren and will be missed
by all who knew him.
Mr. Morel is survived by his wife, Theresa of Parma;
two sons, Don and his wife, Marcia of (end of obit)
