Elsie Ann Mondragon
 
  Elsie Ann Mondragon, 87, of Nampa, died Thursday, January 30, 1997 at a Caldwell care center.  Private family services will be held on Sunday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  Private family graveside will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
    Elsie Ann Mondragon was born on October 9, 1909, in Boise, Idaho to John and Julia Timson Kunzler.  She was raised and educated in Nampa.  She married J.L. "Primo" Mondragon on October 17, 1928, in Nampa.  They made their home in Nampa for 3 years and then moved to Twin Falls in 1931.  While Primo worked for the Railroad, Elsie worked as a devoted mother and home-maker.  In October of 1988 they returned to Nampa. 
    Primo preceded her in death on April 30, 1993.
    She is survived by: Five daughters, Bernice Sheldon of Yuma, AZ, Helen Ottens of Caldwell, Jean Crandall of Nampa, Patricia Myhre of Nampa, and Benita Highwater of Yuma, AZ; 26 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.
    Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
    Memorials may be made to the College Church of the Nazarene Christmas Tree Program, 504 E. Dewey Ave., Nampa, ID 83686.
