Obendorf, 94, of Caldwell, who died of natural causes Friday, Oct. 17, at a Caldwell nursing home, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Roswell Cemetery.  Officiating will be the Rev. David Quail, pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, Caldwell, with services under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Mrs. Obendorf was born Oct. 21, 1891, at Bartonville, Ill., a daughter of Phillip and Lucy Hamil Schraub.  She attended school until the fifth grade at which time her mother died and she was needed at home to care for her brothers and sisters.  At an early age, she went to work at a department store as a shoe clerk.
She married Lewis Lockridge in January 1910.  He died in 1913.  She then married Paul Obendorf in January 1918, and they moved to Idaho where they homesteaded 100 acres. They moved off the farm in 1955 to Middleton, and then to Caldwell in 1958.  Paul Obendorf died in 1961.
In 1964, she married Fred Obendorf and they lived at Nampa.
Fred Obendorf died in 1968.  She continued to live in Nampa, gardening and making quilts for her grandchildren and church bazaars.  In 1980, she sold her home and moved to Greenleaf.  In October 1983 she moved to Caldwell to live with her daughter, Doris Kindall.  While there, she sometimes attended the Oregon Trail Church of God.  In April 1984, following accidental falls, she entered the Caldwell Care Center where she had since resided.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Wilson and Rose Lockridge of Nampa; a daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Bennie Kindall of Caldwell; a daughter and son-in-law, Irma and Orville Cox of Caldwell; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, a son, Glen, and several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell.
Memorials may be made to the bell fund at Grace Lutheran Church, Caldwell, or to the Oregon Trail Church of God, Caldwell.
