Burial for Albert
Peter Miller, 84, of Middleton, who went to be with his Lord
Sunday, Dec. 9, 1990, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday,
Dec. 17, at the Trinity Lutheran
Church, 4th and McConnell streets, Parma, with the Rev. L.H.
Schroeder officiating. Burial
will follow at the
Parma
Cemetery.
Services are under
the direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Dad was born to
Mike and Kathryn Miller July 12, 1906, at
Fairfax, S.D. He
was baptized and confirmed in the
Lutheran
Church.
He married Mom
(Lydia Otto of Chaseley, N. D.) April 22, 1941, at
Steele, N.D. They
spent their younger years in
South Dakota raising his beloved
white-face cattle until they moved to Payette in 1954.
He worked for the
Coca-Cola Bottling Co. in Payette until his retirement in
1970. They moved to
the Parma area in 1965 where they lived until
moving to Middleton in 1988.
He is survived by
his wife of 49 years, Lydia; two sons and daughters-in-law,
Larry and Carolyn and Darrel and Peggy Miller, all of
Middleton; four grandchildren - David Miller of Boise,
Annette Miller of New Rochelle, N.Y., Patrick Miller with
the 82nd Airborne Div., Vicenza, Italy, and Michael Miller
of Fort Lipton, Colo.; four stepgrandchildren, Ronda Simpson
of Nyssa, Pre., Gordon "Chip" Stringer with the U.S. Navy in
Bremerton, Wash., Todd Pruyn of Nyssa, and Dawn Stringer of
Middleton; two
stepgreat-granddaughters, Kayla and Amanda Simpson of Nyssa;
two brothers, Walter Miller of Winner, S.D., and Henry
Miller of Jamestown, N.D.; three sisters, Katherine Pingle
and Martha Otto, both of Jamestown, N.D., and Freida Eckroat
of Payette; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded
in death by his parents, four sisters and four brothers.
The family
suggests memorials be made to
Trinity Lutheran Church
building fund.
This kind and gentle man will be missed by all who
knew him.
