Alfred Moser
    Alfred H. Moser, 85, of Nampa, died Thursday, Sept. 29, 1994 at a Nampa care center.  Vigil services will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday Oct. 3, 1994 at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, 1994 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa, with Father Alfred Puccinelli S.M. as celebrant.  Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
    Alfred was born June 15, 1909 in Elgin, Nebraska a son of Joseph and Elizabeth Schumacher Moser.  He was raised and educated in Elgin.  As a young man he traveled out to Idaho and he liked what he saw, so he went back to Nebraska to marry Johanna Marie Scholl.  They then moved to Idaho where Alfred began farming north of Nampa.  Alfred also worked for Amalgamated Sugar Factory.  Johanna died August 17, 1981.  Alfred later married Lois A. Dick on April 30, 1983 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa.  They have continued to live here in Nampa.
    Alfred loved the farm life, spending time outdoors, pitching a tent in Cascade, and in his younger days he loved to square dance.
    He is survived by his wife Lois, of Nampa; five children Vincent Moser of Montague, CA, Duane L. Moser of Pocatello, ID, Raymond Moser of Nampa, Marlene Thurston of Aurora, CO, Carol Ann Seitz of Worden, WA; four step children, Gary McClanahan of Boise, David McClanahan of Caldwell, Sherry Russell of Caldwell, Karla Fowler of Belfare, WA; two brothers; Edwin Moser of Atascadero, CA, Leonard Moser, of Marsing, ID; 30 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
    Alfred was also preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, 3 sisters, and a great granddaughter.
    Friends may call today from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday from 9 a.m. to 9 p. m. at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
