Graveside services for Raymond J. McIntyre, 77, of Payette, who died Thursday, April 3, 1986, in a Boise hospital of natural causes, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Middleton Cemetery.
The Rev. Raymond Thompson of the Caldwell United Methodist Church will officiate, and services are under the direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel of Caldwell.
Mr. McIntyre was born May 6, 1908, in Middleton where he was reared. He married Bessie Lake Feb. 27, 1964, in Winnemucca, Nev. During the summers, they lived in Alaska where he worked on a gold dredge; and during the winter they lived in Riggins. In 1969, they moved to Payette where they have since resided. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and panning for gold.
He is survived by his wife of Payette; three stepsons, David Lake of Middleton, Bud Lake of Payette, and Lyle Lake of Black Canyon City, Ariz.; two stepdaughters, Mae Green of Emmett, Idaho, Leona Plumber of Sparks, Nev., and a half sister Cora Miller of Summer, Wash., and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Payette Senior Citizens in care of Dakan Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 1386, Caldwell, 83606.
Friends may call today at the chapel from 5 to 9 p.m.
