Services for Lena
M. McKnight, 83, of 3115 Sycamore Dr., Boise, who died Monday, April 18, in a Boise nursing home following an illness, will be conducted
at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Cloverdale Funeral Home, Boise. Pastor
Gunnar Sjoren of the Seventh-day Adventist
Church will officiate.
Interment will be at
3:30 p.m. at the Parma
Cemetery, under the direction of
Cloverdale Funeral Home.
She was born
April 6, 1900, at Macon, Neb.
She was raised and
educated in Macon. She married Rex M.
McKnight on Sept. 29, 1953, in
Long Beach, Calif.
She moved to
McMinnville,
Ore., in 1953, and later to Boise in 1980, where she had since lived.
She was a member of
the Seventh-day Adventist
Church.
She is survived
by two sons, Roy Watson and Lloyd Watson, both of Boise; two
daughters, Irene Weivoda of Nampa, and Darlene Grant of
Boise; three stepsons, J.R. McKnight and Rex McKnight Jr.,
both of McMinnville, Ore., and E.B. McKnight of Brownsville,
Texas; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded
in death by her husband on Oct. 19, 1979, and also by a
brother and a sister.
Pallbearers will be Corey Watson, Bruce Watson, Mark
Schimmels, Robert Robbins, Brad Grant and Richard Bergstrom.
