Lenora McNew

    Lenora J. McNew, 52, of Homedale, died Monday, August 2, 1993, at the Nampa hospital.  Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. today, Aug. 5, at the Wilder Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    She was born on August 28, 1940, in Winchester, Arkansas, to Mary Merritt and J.O. Newton.  She married Earl McNew on June 23, 1957, in Bandon, Oregon.
    She is survived by her husband, Earl of Homedale, ID; five children, Alvin McNew of Homedale, ID, James McNew and wife, Karla of Nampa, ID, Mary Phillips and husband, John of Portland, OR, Cindy McNew of Huntington, OR, and Teresa Cabera and husband, Juan of Weslaco, TX; two sisters, Glenda Ostlund of Saginaw, OR, and Linda Dowdy of Umpire, AR; a brother, Anthony Newton of Saginaw, OR; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the National Kidney Foundation, P.O. Box 4998, Boise, Idaho 83711.
