Louise McCabe

    Christian wake services for Louise McCabe, 74, of Nampa, who died Friday, Jan, 2, at a Nampa nursing home, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa.
    Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa.  The Rev. Merle J. Fisher, S.M., will celebrate.  Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
    Mrs. McCabe was born May 26, 1912, at Dyersville, Iowa, to Joseph arid Mary Phyllis Harmeier Detmer.  She was reared and educated there, graduating from Dyersville High School in 1929.
    She married James J. McCabe in 1933 at St. Louis, Mo., and they made their home there.  She moved to Fort Wayne, Ind., in 1945, and resided there until moving to Nampa in 1972.
    She was active in the RSVP volunteer programs for several years and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
    She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. James J. and Donna McCabe of Nampa; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
