Lloyd McMilian

Lloyd Benford McMilian, 63, died Thursday, March 21, 1996, in a Caldwell care center.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 25, at the Wilder Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Ronald L. Clagg of the Church of God, Caldwell.  Services are under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Lloyd was born on May 17, 1932, at Versailles, Mo., a son of Reynolds and Eula Perryman McMilian.  When Lloyd was a young boy his family moved to Idaho.
Lloyd started school but was unable to continue because of his disabilities.  Nonetheless, he was a strong person and a real fighter.  Lloyd enjoyed fishing, and until he was no longer able, he loved to ride horses. He was a member and past president of the Treasure Valley Indoor Handicapped Club. Lloyd was a lover of children and the children loved him.  He was a man who put his trust in and had much faith in God.
His family would like to express a special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Caldwell Care Center.
He is survived by his mother, Eula of Caldwell; three brothers, Leo, Reynolds and John McMilian, all of Caldwell; one sister, Linda Watts of Seattle, WA; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and three sisters, an infant, JoAnn McMilian, Betty Holmes and Kay McMilian.
