John McDaniel

    John L. McDaniel, 64, of Murphy, died Monday, September 19, 1994, near Mountain Home of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, September 23, 1994, at Kirkpatrick Memorial Community Church, Parma. Rev. Wayne Aman of Murphy will officiate. Interment will follow at the Parma Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma.
    John was born April 26, 1930, in Willow Springs, Missouri, to Arthur and Thelma Collins McDaniel. John was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church of Parma.
    John was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Everyone who knew him knew his love of auctions, antique cars and "treasures."
    Surviving are his wife, Loretta of Murphy; two sons, Larry and his wife, JoAnn of Murphy and Gary and his wife, Dixie of Grand View; one daughter, Karlene Madsen of Murphy; his mother, Thelma McDaniel of Parma; his brothers and sisters and their spouses, Dale and Dee McDaniel of Parma, Velma and Gerald House of Nampa, Margareta and Lloyd Ford of Parma, Ralph and Jolene McDaniel of Parma, Mary and Dick Cornwell of Nampa, Kenneth and Julie McDaniel of Parma and Gene McDaniel of Redmond, Oregon; eight grandchildren, Travis, Connie, April, Melisa, Krissy, Amanda, Tim and Tony; numerous nieces and nephews and his very special friends, Olga, Kelly and Mitchell.
He was preceded in death by his father.
    Friends may call at Dakan Funeral Chapel in Parma from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 22, 1994.
    His family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Grand View Quick Response Unit.
