Funeral services
for Harold R. McCormick, 88, of
1705 Arthur St.,
Caldwell, who died Wednesday, Feb.
9, in Florrisant,
Mo., will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at
the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by the Rev. Raymond
Thompson of the United
Methodist
Church,
Caldwell.
Interment will
follow at the Roswell Cemetery.
Mr. McCormick was
born Jan. 31, 1895, at Owatonna,
Minn., and moved with his family to
Roswell
in 1903. He was
reared and educated in Roswell and graduated from the academy at the College of Idaho. He
married Charlotte Dewhirst on Aug. 20, 1919, in
Meridian and the couple farmed in the Roswell area until 1946, when they moved to Caldwell.
He worked as a
private contractor in home building and remodeling in
Caldwell.
He was a member of
the United Methodist
Church, Caldwell, the Caldwell Kiwanis Club and the
AARP. He is
survived by three daughters, Lorraine Weinmann of Methucken,
N.J., Faye Cooper of Seattle, Wash., and Shirley Zoellner of
Florrisant, Mo.; a daughter-in-law, Gerry McCormick of
Caldwell; a sister, Mrs. C.P. (Louise) Pollard of Boise; 10
grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and
nephews. He was
preceded in death by his wife in 1978, a son, two brothers
and a sister.
The family suggests memorials to the Caldwell Senior
Citizens Center, 1009 Everett St. or the United Methodist
Church, 824 East Logan, Caldwell.
