Dewey W. McBride, 76, of Parma,
died Thursday, May 31, 1990, at a
Boise
hospital of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday,
June 5, 1990, at the Parma Revival
Center. Rev. Paul Nickens
will officiate.
Interment will follow at the
Parma Cemetery. Services are under the
direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Mr. McBride was
born March 8, 1914, at
Willow Springs, Mo., to Benjamin and Merca Melinda McBride.
He married Wilda Eva
Collins in 1932 in Missouri.
They came to Parma in 1938 where Mr. McBride worked for the
railroad for a number of years. In 1954 they moved to LaGrande, Ore.,
where he was foreman on the George Royce Farm.
They returned to
Parma
in 1964 where he had farmed for John and Don Lee.
He was a member
of the Parma
Revival
Center.
Mr. McBride is
survived by his wife, Wilda of Parma; three daughters and
their spouses, Emagene Pratt of Bums, Ore., Sarah and Chuck Sellars of
Bakersfield,
Calif., and Bonnie and Dwayne Tracy of
Portland, Ore.; four sons and their spouses, Pete and
Delores McBride of Parma, LeRoy McBride of Boise, Don and
Glennis McBride of Parma and Terry McBride of Star; a
sister, Opal Callahan of Klamath Falls, Ore.; six brothers,
Louie McBride of Pleasant Hill, Ill., Ernie McBride of
Mountain View, Mo., Charles (Chub) McBride of
Homedale, Roy McBride of Kuna, Ray (Orie) McBride of
Caldwell and Paul McBride of Vienna, Mo.; 32 grandchildren,
66 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
He was
preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, a sister,
four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
His family
suggests that memorials be made to the Idaho Heart
Association.
Friends may call at the Dakan Funeral Chapel in
Caldwell
from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday evening.
