Doug Marston

    Funeral services for Doug William Marston, 39, of Payette, who died Wednesday, February 26, 1992, of natural causes, will be conducted at 10:30 AM Monday, March 2, 1992, at the Presbyterian Church, Homedale, Idaho.  Reverend John Pickrell will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Fargo Cemetery, Wilder, Idaho, under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    Doug was born November 12, 1952 at Caldwell, the son of William C. and Mary Alice Yost Marston.  He lived in Fargo and attended grade school in Homedale. He moved with his family to Greenleaf and graduated from Vallivue High School.  He attended Boise State University for one year.  Doug married Lynne Abbott on April 25, 1976 at Roswell, Idaho.  He started working for Symms Fruit Ranch and was still employed by them at the time of his death.  
    Doug dedicated his life to his family and work.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and various outdoor activities.  His greatest joy in life was spending time with his daughter Leslie.
    He was a member of the Idaho and Washington Horticulture Society, a former member of the Homedale DeMolay, a member of the Odd Fellows Chapter #143 Homedale and Past President of the Homedale Jaycees.
    Doug is survived by his wife Lynne of Payette, a daughter Leslie of Payette, his parents William and Mary Marston; two brothers Daniel H. and Ted H. all of Homedale; his grandmother Maude Marston Lembke of Wilder, an aunt and uncle Marie and Leonard Celmer of Wilder, an uncle and aunt Charles & Melba Yost of Aberdeen, ID, and several nieces.
    The family suggests that memorials be made to the Leslie Marston Trust Fund, c/o Flahiff Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 726, Caldwell, Idaho, or a favorite charity.
    Friends may call today from 1:00 ujntil 5:00 PM at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale.
