Services for
Chester
A. Mc-Carty, 73, of Caldwell, who died, Wednesday. April 3,
in a Caldwell nursing home of
natural causes, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at
the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Pastor Robert
Obenchain of the First
Baptist
Church, Notus, will
officiate. Interment
will be at the Roswell Cemetery
in Roswell.
Mr. McCarty
was born Nov. 20, 1911, in Topaz,
Mo., to Henry and Ida Bell McCarty.
He farmed in
Missouri
and married Fanny Hall Nov. 20. 1935, in
West Plains,
Mo.
In 1935 they moved to Parma where he farmed and
moved to Notus in 1950, where he worked at the Notus Feed
Mill for 16 years. He
later worked for the Notus Machine Shop for three years and
then worked for Simplots from 1972 until his retirement in
1975. He
moved to Caldwell in 1978 where he married Bonnie Kelly
Dec. 8, 1979, and where they had since resided.
He is survived by
his wife of Caldwell; two daughters, Shirley Denny of Boise
and Linda Ferguson of Caldwell; two sons, Charles L. McCarty
of Seattle and Chester Lee McCarty of Billings, Mont.; four
sisters, Nola Freeman of Nampa, Doris Jean Darter of Verona,
Mo., Cordelia Gustafson of Houston, Texas, and Ruby McCarty
of Los Angeles, Calif.; one brothers, John F. McCarty of
Jeno, La.; 11 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
