Zoe Jones

    Services for Zoe Linda Jones, 93, of Parma, who died Friday, July 19, at an Ontario, Ore., nursing home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma, by the Rev. A. D. Hurt of Boise. Interment will be at the Roswell Cemetery.
    Mrs. Jones, a retired school teacher and minister, was born May 8, 1892, in St. Paul, Ark., to John Henry and Amelia Ella Kilgore. She was raised in St. Paul and attended Teacher's College in Huntsville, Ark. She taught school in Arkansas and married Charles Jones July 4, 1914, in Fayetteville, Ark. She was district youth leader for the Methodist Church in Oklahoma before the couple came to Idaho in 1927. she pastored and co-founded the Parma Revival Center Church in Parma in 1950 and also pastored churches in Albion and Roswell. She was Youth leader of the Boise Valley Full Gospel Churches for several years and conducted a radio ministry from 1963 to 1972 on radio station KBGN. Mr. Jones died in August 1959.
    She is survived by two daughters, Marjorie Fretwell ragains and Geraldine Andrews, both of Parma; five brothers, Otto Nickes of Denton Neb., Roscoe Nickens of Fayetteville, Ark., Lon Nickens of Claremore, Okla., Roy Nickens and Pastor Paul Nickens, both of Parma; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband; three borthers, Bill, Mac and Garland; and a sister, Pauline Nickens.  Friends may call at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday.  Memorials may be made to the Parma Revival Center Church, in care of Dakan Funeral Chapel, PO Box 1386, Caldwell, 83606.
