Wesley King

    Services for Wesley C. King, 53, of Middleton, who died Monday, Oct. 26, at the Caldwell hospital, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    The Rev. Jack Keith of the Middleton Baptist Church will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Middleton Cemetery.  
    Mr. King was born Nov. 2, 1933, at Nampa, to Leonard and Mabel Reed King.  He was reared and educated west of Homedale, attending Napton and Ridgeview schools.  In 1949, the family moved to Middleton, where he farmed with his father until 1953, when he started farming on his own.
    He married Anna Lee Flanary in May 1957 at Middleton.  They divorced in 1982.  
    He began working for Ed Naugle Feed Lot in 1976.
    He married Emma Lou Bell Dirksen Jan. 18, 1985, at Payette.  They had made their home in Middleton since that time.  
    In August 1987 he began work for SSI Food Service, Inc., Notus Division, as a feedlot manager.
    His favorite hobby was automobile mechanics.
    He was a member of the Middleton Baptist Church.
    He is survived by his wife of Middleton; four sons and a daughter-in-law, Ty and Lois King of Emmett, and Tip, Tim and Heath King, all of Middleton; a daughter, Connie Martin in Texas; three stepsons, Dirk Dirksen of Boardman, Ore., Nathan Dirksen of Gresham, Ore., and Sam Dirksen of Boise; a stepdaughter, Lou Anna Boyer of Ketchikan, Alaska; two brothers, Ira "Bud" King of Homedale and Clayton King of Middleton; three sisters, Arlene Search of Wilder, Helen Elerick of Stateline, Nev., and Rosa Moore of Cascade; and eight grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by a sister and a daughter.
    Friends may call at the Caldwell Flahiff chapel today until 8. p.m.
