Lavelle Lalande

   Lavelle Lalande, 76, of Garden Valley and formerly of Nampa, died on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1997, at her home from natural causes. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday Jan. 11, 1997, at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Nampa. Father Paul Matthews, S.M., of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, will officiate. Services are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Lavelle Lalande was born on April 30, 1920, in North Powder, OR. In 1922 she and her family moved to Nampa. She married Eugene “Gene” Lalande in 1937. In 1981 they moved to Garden Valley, Idaho, where they have since resided.
   Lavelle is survived by her husband, Eugene “Gene” Lalande, Garden Valley, ID.; daughter and son-in-law, Sydne Deanne and Steve Van Home, Sandpoint, ID; granddaughters, Rachel Liberty and Stefanie Van Home, both of Sandpoint, ID; a great-grandson, Bryce Liberty, Sandpoint, ID and 2 brothers, Dave and Dewey Dalton in Oregon.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Paulette Lee Lalande.
   The family suggests memorial contributions to the Garden Valley Medical Clinic or the Garden Valley Library, Garden Valley, ID. 83622.
