Juan Lopez

    Rosary for Juan D. Lopez, 54, 127 First St. N. Ext., Nampa, who died of natural causes Thursday, Oct. 13 at a Caldwell hospital, will be recited at 6:30 p.m. today at Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Nampa, by the Rev. Mauricio Medina.  Interment will follow at Mt. Cavalry Cemetery, Nampa.
    He was born March 8, 1929 at Karnes City, Texas, the son of Leandro and Maria Montez Lopez.  He received his education in Texas and moved to Idaho when he was 21.  He married Mela Galindo on March 29, 1951 in Mexico.  They moved to the Nampa area in 1951 where he worked as a farm laborer until becoming a car salesman in 1959.  He retired in 1979 because of health.  He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
    He is survived by his wife of Nampa, one son, Juan Martin Lopez, Nampa; his mother, Maria Lopez, Piedras, Mexico; and one step-brother, Juan Manuel Casares, Negres, Mexico.
    Friends may call at Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa today from 1 until 9 p.m. and on Monday from 9 until 10:30 a.m.
