Faustino Lopez

    Services for Faustino P. Lopez, 49, of 623 Elder St., Nampa, who died Friday, Jan. 6, at a Nampa hospital after a long illness, will be conducted at 7 p.m. today at Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa by the Rev. Merle J. Fisher, S.M., of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
    Private interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery on Tuesday.
    He was born March 1, 1934, in Fruita, Colo., a son of Jake and Esther Naranjo Lopez, and moved with his family to Nampa in 1934 where he was reared and attended schools.  He had worked as a farm laborer.  More recently he enjoyed working with pastels, sketching, acrylics and oil paintings until his health failed.
    He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and had been a member of the Local Advisory Committee for the Community Health Clinic, Inc.
    He is survived by his mother, Esther N. Trujillo, Nampa, two nieces and three nephews.
    His father and a sister, Tillile Trujillo, preceded him in death.
    Friends may call at Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa until 9 tonight.
