Services for Alfonso Legin, 67, Parma, who died Saturday in
his home, were held today at Parma Peckham-Dakan-Davis
Chapel.
Mr. Legin was born April 21, 1894, in
Bari, Italy,
and came to the
U. S.
when he was 15 years of age.
He located at
Ogden, Utah,
where he started work for the Union Pacific railroad.
He married in Pocatello on Aug. 18, 1914.
The couple lived at
Glenns Ferry and Mountain Home before moving to Noyus in
1938. They moved to
Parma
in 1958. He retired
from the railroad in 1956. He was a member of the AFL-CIO
union.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mae Legin of
Parma; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Collins of
Caldwell, Mrs. Gentell Hobbs of Boise and Mrs. Thelma Vickers of Parma;
a brother, Veto M. Legin of Chicago;
a sister, Mrs. Mary Colorado of
Chicago, and nine grandchildren and
16 great-grandchildren.
