Funeral services
for Archie Lee Lightfoot, 73, of 715 N. Second Ave.,
Caldwell, who died Thursday Jan. 5,
will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Dakan Funeral
Chapel with Bishop Jim Blacker of the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints officiating.
Interment will
follow at the
Lower
Boise
Cemetery.
Mr. Lightfoot was
born Dec. 26, 1910, at Hale,
Mo., to Jacob E. and Ella White.
He married Helen
Marie Wagg in December of 1931 at Hale and was a farmer and
construction worker in
Carroll County, Mo. He
moved to Winnemucca, Nev., in 1960 and worked at a gold mine for
five years. From
there, he moved to Rupert to work at a processing plant for
approximately six years.
He married Clariece Stephenson in November of
1965 and moved to
Caldwell
where worked at the J.R. Simplot processing plant.
He retired from the
plant in 1972.
He is survived by his wife at home; two sons, Hobert
Lightfoot of Lewisville, Texas, Norman Lightfoot,
Carrollton, Mo.; four daughters, Juanita Wayman and Mary
Jane Wills, both of Kansas City, Mo., Phyllis Sanders,
Independence, Mo., and Teresa Scott of Carrollton; two
stepsons, W.D. French of Olympia, Wash., and Richard French
of Notus; 30 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; two
brothers, Clyde Lightfoot, of Hale, and Millard Lightfoot of
Carrollton; four sisters, Alta Mansfield and Lorene
Mansfield, both of Bogard, Mo. Faye Jenkins of Dewitt, Mo.,
and Hazel Lentz of Recklaw, Texas.
He was preceded
in death by his parents, one infant son Teddy Joe and two
brothers.
